Facebook About Section
When you are researching a Facebook account of interest, remember to check every area under the About section in case there is anything useful shown, as it often includes details of the general area of where an account holder grew-up and currently lives, which school / university they went to and where they have worked, as well any nicknames and sometimes their contact details and their date of birth. And even if an accounts Friends list if set to Private and can't be seen, then family members and their connection to the account holder may still be shown in the Family And Relationships area.
Facebook Friends
If you are researching a Facebook account where the Friends list is Private and therefore not accessible, then by checking any uploaded Posts or Images from the account you can view any Comments posted in response or any Likes it has received, to see who is linked to the subject. These other accounts may have an open Friends list, which may show them as Friends or even listed under the About section as related to the account holder.

- If you are searching for Posts involving an account holders family, search for words such as Parents, Mum / Mother, Dad / Father, Brother, Sister, Children, Son, Daughter, Uncle or Aunty.
- If you are searching for Posts about items an account holder is selling, search for words such as Buy, Sell, New, Used or Secondhand.
- If you are searching for Posts about an account holder home address, search for words such as Home, Move / Moving, House or Flat.
- If you are searching for Posts about an account holder who has been reported missing, search for words such as Missing, Located, Found or Returned.
- Other useful words to search may include, Birthday, Christmas, Party, Work, Hospital, Car, Drive, Boat or Ship etc.
Remember if someone or their friends post in their own language, then it is worth using a Translation Site to search for the words using that language & characters.
