2022 OSINT Website Updates

This page displays the updates with details of any new OSINT / i3 techniques and resources and any new links to useful sites that we have added to our website during 2022.

December 2022
Moved all the links for Anonymizers, VPN's & VM's from the Add-Ons, Favorites & Software pages to their own page on our website at Anonymizers, VPN's & VM's.

Added a link to www.nla.gov.au to the Australian Enquiries & the Newspaper Databases sections on the Favorites page of our website. Trove on nla.gov.au is a really useful free searchable online collaboration between the National Library of Australia and hundreds of partner organisations around Australia, including newspapers.

Moved the Credit & Debtor Information links from the Favorites page to its own page on our website at Credit & Debtor Information.

Added a link to www.one.network to the Other Useful Mapping Tools section on the Maps & Location Related Sites page of our website. one.network is a useful site showing active roadworks in the UK.

Added a link to www.gov.im to the international section on the Genealogy page of our website. www.gov.im allows you to order birth, death & marriage certificates online from the Isle of Man.

November 2022
Updated the links to the Reverse (Pre-GDPR) Whois Details Linked To Domain Names, Registrants And An E-Mail Addresses section on the Domain Names & IP Addresses page of our website. Sites like whoxy, viewdns, reversewhois & domainiq let you search email addresses and names to look for links to the whois details on pre-GDPR data.

Added a link to Seon to the Email Related Sites and the Mobile & Phone Related Sites pages of our website. Seon allows a free search of an email & mobile number, to show you if it's linked to any online accounts.

Added some more links to the Image Location Guessing Sites section on the Maps & Location Related Sites page of our website. Sites like VirtualVacation & GeoGuessMaster help you hone your OSINT geolocating skills, allowing you to view images & videos to pick-out features to help identify the locations shown.

Like many others we have joined Mastodon, so will be adding tools for it to our website and will be adding tools for Mastodon to our website and some new material about it to our training.

Made some changes to the Searching Phone Numbers page of our website, which might be useful if you are searching phone numbers on a search engine.

October 2022
Added a link to SeeMutualFriendsOnFacebook to the Facebook page of our website, which might be useful if you are trying to identify Mutual Friends on Facebook accounts with open Friends lists.

Made a few changes & additions to the Facebook, Linkedin and Messenger Apps pages of our website.

Added a section called Altering / Enhancing Profile Images to the Creating Online ID's page of our website, with links to sites which will allow you to alter computer generated profile images, which may make them seem more genuine.

Returned the link for Facebook Hack Dump Search to the Facebook page of our website, as it is back and quite useful but I'm currently testing something else that is really great for obtaining details of any email addresses and mobile numbers linked to a Facebook account.

Excellent News, TweetBeaver is back, so I've returned links to it to the Twitter page of our website, as it really is the most useful tool if you are researching a Twitter account.

Added a link for Landmark by Toolpie to the Maps & Location Related Sites page of our website. Landmark by Toolpie is a useful tool to identify a landmark in an image, which may help locate where an image was taken.

Added a link for FaceCheck ID to the Reverse Image Searching page of our website. FaceCheck ID is a useful free Facial Reverse Image searching site, seems not only very good for locating similar linked images to identify someone from an image but also in identifying artificially created images.

Added a link for Identificator to the Google Account ID's & Email Related Sites pages of our website. Identificator is like Epieos so will identify the Google Account ID Number linked to a Gmail email address and provide useful links to Reviews & Photos etc and will also show which other online resources and sites (listed Here) linked to any email address. Free and paid for versions available.

Made some changes, adding new headings and links to the Company Related Sites page of our website, adding headings for a few more countries, such as Hong Kong & India, where we have recently had to undertake some research.

Added a link for 12ft.io to the Odd & Useful Computer/Internet Sites section on the Favorites page of our website. www.12ft.io is a useful site which provides a free and easy way to bypass a sites paywall to read news articles etc.

August 2022
Have made some changes to the Charity Details section on the Favorites page of our website, adding new links covering Charities registered in Scotland, Northern Ireland & Ireland.

TweetBeaver has been down for a few months now, since changes with Twitter and seems like it will not be coming back, so I've now removed it from the Twitter page of our website. It is a real shame as TweetBeaver had been a really useful online resource.

Added a link for imglarger.com to the Enhancing Images section on the Photo Related Sites & Links page of our website. AI Image Enlarger & Enhancer requires you to sign up for an account but then you have a useful free tool which will enhance and enlarge images for you.

Made a few additions & changes to the Facebook page on our website.

Added some new links to the Anonymous, Disposable & Temporary Emails section on the Email Related page on our website. Sites such like DeadFake, SendAnonymouseMail & AnonyMailer allow you to send an email and make it look as if it has come from someone else.

Created a Telegram channel, not sure if we will use it much but was just trying out a few things.

Updated the TikTok page on our website.

Added a link for bitdownloader.io a free online video downloader to a number of the pages on our website, as it lets you easily download copies of videos from sites including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, Vine, Vimeo & YouTube.

Added a link for jpegcompress.com under the Image File Compressor sites heading on the Photo Related Sites & Links page of our website. jpegcompress.com allows you to resize and optimize bulk images including GIFs, JPEG, PNG, JPG, SVG and WEBP.

Added a link for www.naa.gov.au under the Australian Enquiries heading on the Favorites page of our website. www.naa.gov.au is a free searchable database of Australian military and passenger records.

June 2022
WhatsApp has altered its Privacy Settings, so an account holder can select who from their contact list can see their Profile Photo, About, and Last Seen status, selecting between, Everyone, All Of My Contacts, All Of My Contacts Except or Nobody. Whilst this is yet another annoying change for those of us undertaking OSINT research, we wonder how many users will actually change their settings anyway.

Added a few more links under the Other Popular Search Engines & Linked Sites heading on the Search Engines page of our website. It is getting more & more essential to make additional searches on search engines like Bing & Yandex after you have done an initial search on Google, as they do sometime find additional details and have cached pages from different dates.

Added a link to PageFreezer under the OSINT Research & Reporting Software heading on the OSINT Sites & Research Software page of our website. PageFreezer is a really useful and easy to use Chrome extension which allows you to save your online research in a provable and legally acceptable manner.

Added a link to Holehe on the Python Sites page of our website. Holehe allows you to see if an email is linked attached to an account on sites like twitter, instagram, imgur and more than 120 others.

Added a link to undertake a Pre-Set Google Search To Search Instagram Via A Hashtag Term on the Instagram page of our website, so you can undertake a search for # term OR terms by adding them as a "phrase" OR "phrases" to the pre-set Google search box.

Updated the Facebook page of our website as unfortunately the Facebook Account Hack Dump Search page was no longer working.

Added a link for www.digitalmethods.net to the YouTube Comment Searcher section on the YouTube Related Sites & Links page of our website. DigitalMethods allows you to easily search, sort and analyze YouTube comments, and save them to a spreadsheet.

Added a link for www.hadzy.com to the YouTube Comment Searcher section on the YouTube Related Sites & Links page of our website. Hadzy allows you to easily search, sort and analyze YouTube comments.

Updated the Python Sites page of our website.

Annoying that there seems to have been some changes with Instagram, so the tricks to get the Obfuscated Email & Mobile numbers of an account are no longer as effective, so will try to find a work around.

More changes with Epieos, so we have adjusted the links on the relevant pages on our website. Epieos has brought back the Skype search results and has included some other result features, so it may be well worth signing up with Epieos for any additional features.

Added a link for www.funeralguide.co.uk to the Free Newspaper Birth, Death & Marriage Announcement Sites section on the Genealogy - Births, Deaths, Marriages and Wills & Probate Sites page of our website. FuneralGuide has a searchable database for obituaries and funeral announcements in the UK.

Added a link for Localingual to the Online Translation Sites page of our website. Localingual is a site which easily allows you to see which languages prevail in a particular country and to hear to how its name sounds in those different languages.

Found FullDP, which is a site which enables you to download full-size profile picture for OnlyFans, Tinder, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube and VK, so have added links for it on the relevant pages and sections of our website.

It appears that the email search with Epieos has changed, with a new url and a new look, so I have updated the new Epieos url / link on our website. Hopefully they will continue to add more features, as it's a great tool.

Added a link to the Snapchat section on the Messenger Apps & Others page of our website. This new link is a Google search for https://snapchat.com/add/ADDUSERNAMEHERE, which you can use to obtain an avatar and sometimes some other public details linked to a Snapchat account by replacing ADDUSERNAMEHERE on the URL with your subjects screenname.

Added a section called Ethereum Related Sites on the CryptoCurrency Related Sites page of our website.

Added a page for Useful Twitch Related Sites & Links to our website.

Added a link for InstaHunt to the Locate Instagram Image Upload Locations area on the Instagram page of our website. InstaHunt can be used to identify Instagram image upload locations.

1. Choose the location that you want to find Instagram places near. This is done by clicking the map to add a marker at your desired location. Then click the "Find Places" button.
2. Click the "Get Instagram Place Data" button - After clicking the button, if you are logged out, a new tab will open where you'll be re-directed to the Instagram log in page. Please log in and accept cookies. You'll then be re-directed to your "Place Data".
3. Copy "Place Data" - Copy all of the text on the new window that appears.
4. Paste the "Place Data" in to the text-box. - Once you have copied all the data, paste it into the text box at the bottom of the screen.
5. Click the "Map Your Instagram Places" button. Once you have clicked the "Map Your Instagram Places" button your places will be added to the map. You can hover over them and click the "View Posts" button to see the posts tagged to that location.
Note: There is a limit to how many places you can add at any one time. Currently Instagram have this set to 29 places. Due to this, to get a comprehensive view of an area I recommended that you do multiple searches, by clicking the "Add More Places" button where you change your desired location slightly and re-copy the data.is a Twitter geolocation search tool, with new added advanced search options, allowing you to search by media types & keyword.

Added a link for ytxtractor to the YouTube Data Viewer area on the YouTube Related Sites & Links page of our website. ytxtractor lets you paste a URL to a YouTube video to extract data and still images from it.

Added some links under the OnlyFans Related Sites heading on the General Social Media Sites & Links page of our website. These links are for OnlyFans front page, OnlyFinder search page, OnlyFinder map page & OnlySearch search page.

Added some links under the Facial Reverse Image Searching On Social Media heading on the Reverse Image Searching Related Sites & Links page of our website. These links are on www.search4faces.com, which are in Russian but you should just about be able to navigate your way around them, to search facial images against other images on Search4Faces on Instagram, Search4Faces on TikTok, Search4Faces on VK & OK and Search4Faces on Clubhouse.

Added a link for www.opensanctions.org to the Sanctions / Watch List area on the Favorites page of our website. OpenSanctions provides a searchable open source data list on sanctioned people and companies from various countries, with information coming from a number of different sources.

Updated the links on the Useful TikTok Related Sites & Links page of our website as TikTok had made a few changes to their site.

I've updated the Useful Twitter Sites & Links page of our website, deleting some of the old links which were no longer working and adding some new ones.

Added a link for www.scamsearch.io to the Scam Checkers section on the Email Related Sites & Links page of our website. ScamSearch lets you search a profile picture, email address, username, phone number, crypto address or website to see if it is linked to any reported online scams.

I've updated the Useful Linked Related Sites & Links page of our website, deleting some of the old links which were no longer working and adding some new ones.

Added a link for www.databasesets.com to the Paid Section for Useful International Company Information / Business Tools on the Company Related Sites page of our website. I recently used www.databasesets.com to obtain details on a Hong Kong company but there are many other useful data sets that it has that can be accessed from its main site at DataBaseSets.

Updated all the links on the Dark Web Sites page of our website.

Seon appears to offer a useful site, searchable via email address & mobile numbers, showing any links to a number of different online sites & mobile messenger apps, for a reasonable monthly fee.
Added a link for Epieos - Skype Lookup to the Skype section on the Messenger Apps & Others page of our website. Epieos - Skype Lookup enables you to search for a Skype account using an email address, username or phone number. It doesn't return as much detail as Skypli but is still a useful tool.

The Email Related Sites & Links page of our website was looking a bit full, so I have added a new page and split all the details and links amongst the pages at Email Header Related Sites & Links and Email - Covert IP Tracking Sites as well as keeping the Email Related Sites & Links page. Have also moved a few links for add-ons and added a few new sites & links.

The Photo Related Sites & Links page of our website was looking a bit over full, so I have added a few more pages and split all the details and links amongst the new pages at EXIF Data Related Sites, Facial Comparison Sites & Reverse Image Searching as well as keeping the Photo Related Sites & Links page. Hopefully this will make things a bit clearer and will fit in better with the training I'm currently updating.

Added a page for Archive & Cached Related Sites & Links to our website. Moving some links from the Favorites, Add-Ons & Software page all onto this new page, along with some new links.
