2024 OSINT Website Updates

This page displays the updates with details of any new OSINT / i3 techniques and resources and any new links to useful sites that we have added to our website during 2024.

April 2024
I've made a few changes to my OSINT / i3 website, including adding some links, so users of the website who would like to make a donation, via PayPal & Ko.Fi can easily help contribute to the costs of running & updating it.

I've added some more details to the Profile Image Related Details page of our OSINT / i3 website, with details on obtaining a larger profile image from a Spotify account holders page.

Added a link to the Company Related Sites for a new page on our OSINT / i3 website for UK Company OSINT Research Advice, with details on Obtaining A Company Directors Date Of Birth and Are Any Companies or Businesses Operating From An Address. I will add more details to this page soon.

I've added some links to sites which allow you to access & view Dark Web onion sites from a standard browser. These links are on the Dark Web Sites page on our OSINT / i3 website. Using these sites I've also added some new links to access the Facebook Account Hack Dump sites on the Facebook General Links & Useful Sites page on our OSINT / i3 website, which maybe useful for people who are restricted from access the Dark Web.

Made a few small changes to the website, with a few new links for Channel Islands & the Isle of Man on the Company Related Sites, Genealogy Related Sites & the Property Related Sites pages of our OSINT / i3 website.

Made a few small changes to the front page of our website, including adding a link for OSINTIA, which is a community for Open Source Intelligence professionals.

Made some changes to the Archive & Cached Related Sites & Links page of our OSINT / i3 website.

March 2024
Made some changes to the TikTok page of our OSINT / i3 website and added a section called Viewing A TikTok Account - Desktop Browser v Smartphone App, as if you view a TikTok account on a Smartphone App then you may see additional links under the bio area, such as for a linked Instagram or YouTube account, which might not be visible under the bio area if viewed on a Desktop Browser. Also when viewing an accounts Followers / Followings on a Smartphone App you can search within them, which is not an option when accessed via a Desktop Browser.

I've added some details about Linkedin Footprints to the LinkedIn Related Sites & Links page of our OSINT / i3 website.

I've added a link for an Bouncer on the Facebook Account ID Numbers, Instagram, TikTok & X / Twitter pages on our OSINT / i3 website. Bouncer is a simple yet powerful bookmarklet that helps you quickly retrieve a users Account ID Number from popular social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & X / Twitter with just one click.

I've added a link to molfar.com under the Useful International Company Information / Business Tools heading on the Company Related Sites page of our OSINT / i3 website. molfar.com is a useful site, with links to different business registers around the world.

Really annoying that OneMillionTweetMap appears to be no longer working, meaning that there are now no longer any free online services showing the locations of X / Twitter posts. So I've updated the X / Twitter page of our OSINT / i3 website.

Added a link to www.bigdomaindata.com under the Reverse (Pre-GDPR) Whois Details Linked To Domain Names, Registrants And An E-Mail Addresses heading on the Domain Names & IP Addresses page of our OSINT / i3 website. BigDomainData is a useful free resource for obtaining the full Pre-GDPR Whois registration details for a Domain Name.

It is really annoying that Google Cache has now been removed from the returned search results. There is an article about it Here. For now Google Cache can still be accessed from the Resurrect Pages Add-On and there are easy to access Cached results still available on Bing & Yandex.

January 2024
Added a page called Things To Record & Research On A Social Media Account to our OSINT / i3 website, to help people who aren't regular OSINT users, to understand the different areas that can be used on a social media site to help progress an investigation.

Added a page called Developer Tools to our OSINT / i3 website, to help those not used to using the Developer Tools techniques.

Updated the TikTok Related Sites & Links page on our OSINT / i3 website, with a few new details.

I've added a link for an Interactive Map Of all Foreign Entities Holding English/Welsh Real Estate under the Land Registry / Property Ownership Related Sites heading on the Property Related Sites page on our OSINT / i3 website. This Interactive Map Of all Foreign Entities Holding English/Welsh Real Estate is a really useful searchable map showing individual properties in England & Wales owned by Foreign Entities as of January 2024.

Updated the LinkedIn Related Sites & Links page on our OSINT / i3 website, with a few new links.

Added two new pages to our OSINT / i3 website, the first is for Useful OnlyFans Related Sites & Links and the second is for Useful BlueSky / BSky Related Sites & Links, with details on obtaining additional information when researching these sites & accounts.

Added two new pages to our OSINT / i3 website, the first is for Facebook Groups Research and the second is for Useful Threads Sites & Links, with details on obtaining additional information when researching these sites & accounts.

I've made changes to the Facebook Marketplace Research page of our website adding some more details, some of which we have recently used successfully in a live investigation.

I've made some changes to the Email page on our website, moving a section and links to a new page on our website at Email Linked Free Web Space, which really dates to a time before social media, where many people used the free web space linked to their e-mail addresses and their Internet Service Provider, to upload family details & photos and run club websites etc, and as these were different days many people were more unguarded in the content they posted. Whilst these sites may no longer be in use, with many of the Internet Service Providers no longer trading or having changed names, many of these sites are still accessible via archive sites such as at www.archive.org and as such this may still be a useful investigative technique to know about, even if rarely used.
