2023 OSINT Website Updates

This page displays the updates with details of any new OSINT / i3 techniques and resources and any new links to useful sites that we have added to our website during 2023.

December 2023
I've made some changes to the Sports Related section on the Profession & Licensing page on our website, splitting it into different section for Athletics, Boxing & Martial Arts, Cricket, Gymnastics, Horse Racing & Show Jumping and Swimming and adding some more useful links for these sports. Sporting databases can be useful as they often give an individual's date of birth or their age, details of the local club they are a member of and the events they have taken part in.

I've added a link for tutorhunt.com under the heading of Educational & Teachers on the Profession & Licensing page of our website. TutorHunt is a searchable database of over 100,000 qualified tutors across the UK.

I've added a link for urlebird.com under the heading of Access A TikTok Account Via A Third Party Site on the TikTok page on our website. urlebird.com allows you to view the account details for a TikTok account and any uploaded videos, which may be useful for those whose systems restrict access to TikTok.

I've added a link for mikrotakt.app under the heading of Video Audio Splitter on the YouTube & Video Sites pages on our website. mikrotakt.app is a useful free online site which can split the audio from a video into different sound channels.

I've created a link for Polish Based Sites on the Favorites page of our website, with a link to OSINT-Poland, which is a list of useful online services that focus on Poland & the Polish-speaking communities, put together by 9wind, although you might need to be use Google Translate to understand the different headings.

I've made some changes to the Ship (& Boat) Related Sites page on our website, adding a new section called Location of Shipwrecks, with links to useful sites.

I've added a link for Reverse Contact to the Linkedin page of our website. Reverse Contact lets you sign-up and gives you 20 free credits, so you can search an email address and it will link it to a Linkedin account.

I've made some changes to the Facial Comparison page on our website, adding some new links and details.

I've updated the links on the Using OSINT To Unmask A Paedophile Online, hopefully you will find it interesting.

I've made some changes to the Linkedin page on our website, adding some new links and useful details.

I've made major changes to the Facebook section of our website, splitting it into four pages and adding more content. So now there are pages on Facebook Account ID Numbers, Facebook Account Research, Facebook General Links and Facebook Marketplace Research. Will add more content soon.

I've added a link for PlateRecognizer to the International - Motor Vehicle Related Sites section on the Motor Vehicle page of our website. PlateRecognizer is a useful online tool to get the details of a number plate from a blurred image, as well as the vehicles model type & country of origin, it doesn't always work but it's quite helpful.

With complete credit and many thanks to Tony Bennett of Opsimathy & Mark Fenton, I have added a UK Phone Number Search String Generator to the Searching Phone Numbers page of our website, as it is a useful little addition.

I've made some small changes to the Twitter / X page of our website, removing a few links that are no longer working due to the changes at Twitter / X.

I've added a link for CastrickClues to the Email & Mobilephone pages of our website. CastrickClues is similar to Epieos, allowing you to search an email address and mobile number, returning details on linked accounts from a number of online sites. As with many of these types of sites, basic results can be accessed for free, whereas paid accounts access additional information and are not that expensive.

I've made some small changes to the Email & Mobilephone pages of our website, making some changes to the section where you can search email addresses and mobile numbers. Although many of the sites listed tend to return only very limited information with free accounts, most are reasonably cheap to have full access, allowing the searching of email addresses and mobile numbers, returning details and links to online accounts used with the email address or mobile number searched. These details can include names, screen names and profile images, which can then be searched to look for more information.

I've updated the details on the Twitter page of our website, as some of sites used to obtain the Twitter Account ID Number are no longer working but these details can still be obtained by using the Developer Tools accessed by the F12 button.

I've added a new section called New Instagram Threads Accounts to the Instagram page of our website at Instagram, with a few details to be aware of but as and when more useful Threads related online tools & sites are developed we will create a separate page for it on the website.

Added a new section called UK - Vehicle Sales Details to the Motor Vehicle Related Sites page of our website, where there are links to www.autotrader.co.uk & www.totalcarcheck.co.uk along with an explanation on how to view the details of when a UK registered vehicle was advertised for sale online, along with the asking price and the date it was last sold.

Added a new section called Watches to the Favorites page on our website, with links to some useful sites if you are researching expensive watches and will add some more useful sites soon.

Added a link for Gmail-OSINT.ActiveTK.JP to the Google Account ID's page on our website. Gmail-OSINT.ActiveTK.JP is an online resource version of GHunt, which displays the Google Account ID Number, name, profile image and other linked details for a Gmail address.

I've made some changes to the YouTube page of our website, adding some new sections and some new useful links, many of them from ytlarge.com.

I've been busy and so just got round to adding more than a dozen new sites to a number of pages on our website, the most notable being for Osint.Industries, which I've added to the Email Related Sites & Google Account ID's pages of our website. Osint.Industries, once you have signed in, will let you search an email address, and much like Epieos, will link it to any linked online sites etc, so very useful.

Added a section for Immigration on the Profession & Licensing Sites page of our website.

Updated the Privacy Checker page on our website.

Added some useful links to the Instagram & TikTok pages on our website, so you can create Bookmark Tools, which will show the exact date & time of an upload to Instagram and TikTok.

Made some changes to the TikTok and Twitter pages on our website, adding some new links and deleting some old ones, which were no longer working.

Added a link for www.backgroundchecks.org to the International - Others section on the Genealogy page on our website. BackgroundChecks has a very useful guide on genealogy, from a USA perspective, with lots of advice & links to sites.

Made some changes to the Twitter page on our website, as a number of sites no lnger work due to the changes with Twitter.

Done a short post on Linkedin titled A Quick OSINT Hint / Tip about obtaining images missing from websites on archive.org.

Added a link for AvatarAPI to the Email Related Sites & Links page on our website. AvatarAPI will return any name & profile image linked to an email address.

Added a section called Remove A Watermark From An Image to the Creating Online ID's page on our website, with links to sites such as watermarkremover.io which can be used to freely and instantly remove a watermark from an image, including the ones on images from the sites that use AI to create profile images of people who don't exist.

Done a short post on Linkedin titled A Quick OSINT Hint / Tip about locating hard to find social media accounts.

Made some changes to the Email Related Sites page on our website and added a section called Locate An Email Address Linked To A GitHub Account, with a few useful links.

Made some changes to the Instagram page on our website, as it appears that the cross-post from the Instagram app to Twitter is no longer working, so you can no longer see the message that was posted with the images from Private accounts but don't worry, as although it's annoying to lose some of these OSINT techniques there are often new & exciting ones coming out.

Epieos has brought back its online phone numbers search resource, so we have made some changes to the Email Related Sites & Mobile & Phone Related Sites pages of our website. Epieos and sites like Seon & Defastra offer some free content against searched email & mobile numbers, to show if they are linked to any online accounts but offer more if you have an account with them.

I have started adding links marked OSINT Hints & Trick to our website, which link to interesting posts on useful OSINT techniques made by others online, such as recent posts by @technisette about Snapchat and @cyb_detective about Artificially Created Profile Images.

Added a link to instruct-pix2pix to the Photo Sites & Reverse Image Searching pages on our website. instruct-pix2pix provides a free online resource, which can be used to change an image from daytime to night-time, which may help when conducting a reverse image search.

Added a link to GPS Jam to the Other Useful Mapping Tools section on the Maps & Location Related Sites page on our website. GPS Jam is an interactive map showing where in the world the gps is being jammed.

Added some links to AILab on Wondershare.Com to the Photo Sites, Reverse Image Searching and the Facial Comparison pages on our website. AILab on Wondershare.Com provides free online resources, including to age people shown in an image and to remove a background from an image.

Added some new search engines to the Others section on the Search Engines page of our website.

We have created a new page on our website at Password Reset Details, with a few details and useful links on this useful OSINT technique. Obviously you must NOT try to reset the password of any account which is not your own, as that could be unlawful but using these techniques may be useful when trying to identify who is behind an online account.

We have created a new page on our website at Profile Image Details, containing details of how to obtain larger, more useful profile images from an account holders page. At the moment we have just included details for Ebay. Google and Snapchat but we will add some more details soon.

Have added links to a couple of useful court search sites to the American Enquiries section on the Favorites page of our website. Sites like www.unicourt.com & www.trellis.law offer free searches for those involved in USA court cases, with documents available for paid account holders.

Rather than just delete the details of any updates we have made to our website after 6months, we have created pages for all of the updates made during 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 which are linked to at the bottom of the Recent Updates page of our website.
